Hoe stel ik Notepad++ in als de standaard editor?

Ik wil Notepad++ instellen als de standaard editor. Ik probeerde het in te stellen door met de rechtermuisknop te klikken op een bestand, en dan Openen met. Maar ik zag Notepad++ niet in de resulterende lijst (zelfs niet nadat ik op Kies andere programma’s had geklikt).

Wanneer ik probeer om naar Notepad++ te gaan via de Bladeren optie naar notepad++.exe bestand, doet het niets. (Het herkent het niet op de een of andere manier)

  1. Start Notepad++ met verhoogde rechten.

  2. Ga in Notepad++ naar Instellingen , Voorkeuren…

  3. Ga naar het tabblad Bestandassociatie.

  4. Selecteer fortran,TeX,SQL en dan .sql en voeg het toe aan de geregistreerde extensies:

Start Notepad++ als administrator, door rechts te klikken op zijn icoon en de relevante actie te selecteren:

In Settings > Preferences... kun je de gewenste extensies aan Notepad++ koppelen, met behulp van dit dialoogvenster:

In dit geval zou klikken op de rood omlijnde pijl alle .txt associëren met Notepad++.

Je kunt het register wijzigen. Van deze website ](http://techexplored.com/replace-notepad-notepad-windows/), Ik heb een vrij grondige regedit wijziging gevonden die prima werkt voor mij en echt het standaard rechtsklik “Edit” programma verandert.

De hex gedeeltes zijn gewoon dezelfde path string naar Notepad++, ik weet niet waarom die in hex zijn gezet, maar het is onschadelijk. Nogmaals, ik heb deze code niet gemaakt.

Als alternatief kun je ook notepad.exe vervangen door notepad++.exe (of notepad2.exe of een andere editor).

De meest directe route die ik heb gevonden is om Windows te vertellen om Notepad++ (of Notepad2 of…) te gebruiken in plaats van de standaard Notepad.exe door gebruik te maken van Image File Execution. Dit is veiliger (en gemakkelijker!) dan het vervangen van systeembestanden of het rommelen met meerdere register entries.
